Book Your Vancouver Holiday Party Entertainment Now
If your company holiday party is in December and the entertainment isn’t booked yet, book it now. Friday and Saturday nights in the first three weeks of December go first, and by November the open dates get thin. Weeknights and January parties are easier to find, so keep those in mind if your first date is gone.
Lock in the date before the details
You don’t need a final headcount or a full schedule to get started. Send us the date, the venue, a rough guest count and your start and end times. That’s enough for us to check availability and quote. The fine details, like when speeches happen or what songs to avoid, can be sorted out in November.
Venues, caterers and entertainment all book up in the same few weeks. Getting the date and venue settled first takes most of the stress out of the rest.
What works for different team sizes
Under 40 people
Small teams do best with something everyone does together. Hosted music bingo or music trivia, played on phones at the tables, gets the whole group into one game. For mixed ages we play it as table teams, one phone per table. Karaoke with a KJ is great here too if your team is a loud one. A small group may not fill a dance floor, and that’s okay.
40 to 150 people
This is the classic holiday party. Dinner, a few words from leadership, maybe some prize draws, then dancing. A DJ/MC carries the whole night. Add a round of music bingo between dinner and dessert, and a photo booth that opens at cocktails and runs until the end.
150 and up
Bigger rooms need a stronger plan. The MC matters more, because announcements have to land across a large space. A photo booth gives people somewhere to go when they aren’t dancing. If several departments don’t know each other, table team trivia or bingo before the dancing breaks the room into small groups that have to talk.
Hosted games plus a DJ
Plenty of office crowds aren’t big dancers until later in the night. Hosted games fill that gap without anyone feeling pushed onto the floor. The games run through the same sound system as the DJ, so it’s one setup and one plan for the night.
A flow we like is games during dinner, then speeches and draws on wireless mics, then the DJ opens the dance floor. Each part leads into the next and there are no long awkward gaps while someone figures out what’s happening.
A photo booth with your branding
The booth is usually what people are still showing each other on Monday. We make one custom overlay for your booking, with your company name, logo and the year. You choose a layout from our overlay template library and add your wording yourself with the Personalize button, or send it to us with your logo and we’ll take care of it. Guests get their photos by text or email, so they’re on phones and in team chats that night.
Our booths are attended, so someone is there to get groups into the frame and keep the line moving. The default backdrop is a silver glitter that looks good under any venue lighting. If you’re running a prize draw, we can print a QR code on the overlay that links to your own entry form.
