Garden wedding templates borrow their vocabulary from botanical illustration and watercolor painting. You will see eucalyptus sprigs, watercolor florals, hand-lettered names, soft pastel washes, and accents in sage, dusty rose, blush, or cream. The colors are muted and the details feel hand-made. Nothing feels digital or sharp-edged.

These templates pair best with venues that already have their own greenery: botanical gardens, vineyards, country estates, farm barns, and any outdoor BC ceremony where the landscape is half the decor. Skip it if: your palette is burgundy, aluminum, or cool grey, or if your venue is a city hotel ballroom where the greenery will feel decorative instead of earned.

2. Rustic Barn Wedding

Woodgrain textures, hand-illustrated wildflowers, and a hand-written-style serif for names. This is the garden template that pairs best with country and vineyard venues where wood beams and field flowers are already part of the room.

Best for: barn weddings, country estates, Okanagan vineyards, Cowichan Valley farms, wildflower palettes, rustic-meets-romantic aesthetics.

Skip it if: your wedding is formal or urban, or if your decor leans minimalist. The woodgrain will read as out of place.

Skip it if: your palette is strictly sage and cream, or if you find the raspberry tones too warm for your decor.

How To Choose Between Them

Four questions that tend to settle it. First, what color are your florals? If they are mostly greens and eucalyptus, Green Celebration wins. If they are rich pinks and deep reds, Rustic Raspberry Flowers wins. If they are whites and creams with gold accents, Graceful Wedding wins. If they are wildflowers and field blooms, Rustic Barn wins.

Second, is the venue indoor or outdoor? For true outdoor ceremonies in a garden, any of these four work. For indoor receptions with a garden theme, Graceful and Green Celebration translate best to enclosed spaces. Rustic Barn needs an actual barn or wood-heavy room. Rustic Raspberry Flowers works indoors if your decor includes rich floral arrangements.

Will a garden wedding template still look good at an indoor reception?

Yes, if your decor carries any botanical elements inside (eucalyptus runners, potted greenery, garlands, floral centerpieces). If your indoor room is entirely formal and floral-free, a garden template will read as disconnected from the room. Match the photo strip to what guests actually see around them.

Can we customize the florals to match our actual bouquet?

To a point. We can swap colors on existing floral illustrations, adjust saturation, and add small new elements (a particular bloom, a sprig of herbs). Replacing the entire floral illustration with a custom painting of your exact bouquet is a custom-from-scratch design project, which is included with our packages at no extra charge.

How early should we book the photo booth for our garden wedding?

Garden weddings concentrate in the May through early-September window in BC, which is also our busiest stretch. Book eight to twelve months out for summer weekends. If you are eleven months out, we probably have availability. If you are three months out for a July Saturday, we probably do not.

What if it rains on our outdoor garden wedding?

We require a weatherproof backup plan for any outdoor booth rental: a tent, a covered patio, or an indoor room. Our electronics need protection from rain and direct sun. We also need a level surface (not grass alone) and power within 50 feet. For garden venues, we will walk through these details during booking.
