DJ Nikki Kush

Chilean-born vinyl lover bringing Caribbean and Latin heat
Nicol has always been drawn to music through movement. Long before DJing, she loved dancing, and the first time she touched a turntable, something clicked. Later, she fell in love with vinyl and collecting analog music, which became a big part of her identity as a DJ and helped shape the sound she brings to every event.
One of the moments that had the biggest impact on her career came in Los Angeles in 2017, when she played her first full vinyl set made up entirely of Jamaican music. She had spent a lot of time studying the culture and the way DJs in Jamaica play, and the night felt special from start to finish. At the end of the set, members of the Marley family came up to talk with her, and that experience led to more opportunities during her time in Los Angeles.
As a DJ, Nikki’s style is danceable, energetic, and uplifting. She loves Caribbean and Latin music, Jersey club, hip hop, and really anything that gets people moving. Her strong mixing skills, wide musical knowledge, and natural ability to read a crowd allow her to shift the energy throughout the night while keeping the dance floor right where it should be.
For weddings and corporate events, Nikki keeps the focus on the people she is playing for. It is not about forcing her own taste into the night. It is about understanding the couple, the client, and the crowd, then creating a soundtrack that feels true to the celebration. Her goal is always to create memorable moments and keep the dance floor full. She also encourages clients to be clear about their must-haves and no-plays so the music feels personal from beginning to end.
When she is not behind the decks, Nikki enjoys working out, running, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She keeps her library fresh by regularly downloading from record pools and staying on top of new releases. And when the room needs a guaranteed boost, she knows that a little Pitbull can go a very long way.
